5 Look unto the heavens, and see; And behold the skies, which are higher than thou.
Is not God in the height of heaven? And behold the height of the stars, how high they are!
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and number the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
But will God in very deed dwell on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded!
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, The wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?
Out of the north cometh golden splendor: God hath upon him terrible majesty. `Touching' the Almighty, we cannot find him out He is excellent in power; And in justice and plenteous righteousness he will not afflict.
`It is' he that sitteth above the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in; that bringeth princes to nothing; that maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

Job being still silent, Elihu follows his blow, and here, a third time, undertakes to show him that he had spoken amiss, and ought to recant. Three improper sayings he here charges him with, and returns answer to them distinctly:-
