1 I will give thee thanks with my whole heart: Before the gods will I sing praises unto thee.
Praise ye Jehovah. I will give thanks unto Jehovah with my whole heart, In the council of the upright, and in the congregation.
For Jehovah is a great God, And a great King above all gods.
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came (and the scripture cannot be broken), say ye of him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am `the' Son of God?
Thou shalt not revile God, nor curse a ruler of thy people.
God standeth in the congregation of God; He judgeth among the gods.
I said, Ye are gods, And all of you sons of the Most High.
For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised: He is to be feared above all gods.
Bless Jehovah, O my soul; And all that is within me, `bless' his holy name. Bless Jehovah, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:
What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
