4 By your wisdom and deep knowledge you have got power for yourself, and put silver and gold in your store-houses:
Say not then, in your hearts, My power and the strength of my hands have got me this wealth. But keep in mind the Lord your God: for it is he who gives you the power to get wealth, so that he may give effect to the agreement which he made by his oath with your fathers, as at this day.
The property of a man of wealth is his strong town, and it is as a high wall in the thoughts of his heart.
And again I saw under the sun that the reward goes not to him who is quick, or the fruits of war to the strong; and there is no bread for the wise, or wealth for men of learning, or respect for those who have knowledge; but time and chance come to all.
Say to them, These are the words of the Lord: See, I am against you, Pharaoh, king of Egypt, the great river-beast stretched out among his Nile streams, who has said, The Nile is mine, and I have made it for myself.
As well as Hamath, which is by its limit, and Tyre and Zidon, because they are very wise. And Tyre made for herself a strong place, and got together silver like dust and the best gold like the earth of the streets. See, the Lord will take away her heritage, overturning her power in the sea; and she will be burned up with fire.

Eze 28:11-19
As after the prediction of the ruin of Tyre (ch. 26) followed a pathetic lamentation for it (ch. 27), so after the ruin of the king of Tyre is foretold it is bewailed.
Eze 28:20-26
God's glory is his great end, both in all the good and in all the evil which proceed out of the mouth of the Most High; so we find in these verses.
