23 And G2532 after he had spent G4160 some G5100 time G5550 there, he departed, G1831 and went over G1330 all the country G5561 of Galatia G1054 and G2532 Phrygia G5435 in order, G2517 strengthening G1991 all G3956 the disciples. G3101
Now G1161 when they had gone throughout G1330 Phrygia G5435 and G2532 the region G5561 of Galatia, G1054 and were forbidden G2967 of G5259 the Holy G40 Ghost G4151 to preach G2980 the word G3056 in G1722 Asia, G773
And Judas G2455 and G2532 Silas, G4609 being G5607 prophets G4396 also G2532 themselves, G846 exhorted G3870 the brethren G80 with G1223 many G4183 words, G3056 and G2532 confirmed G1991 them.
Wherefore G1352 lift up G461 the hands G5495 which hang down, G3935 and G2532 the feeble G3886 knees; G1119 And G2532 make G4160 straight G3717 paths G5163 for your G5216 feet, G4228 lest that G3363 which is lame G5560 be turned out of the way; G1624 but G1161 let it G2390 rather G3123 be healed. G2390
Wherefore G5620 comfort G3870 one another G240 with G1722 these G5125 words. G3056
And G2532 sent G3992 Timotheus, G5095 our G2257 brother, G80 and G2532 minister G1249 of God, G2316 and G2532 our G2257 fellowlabourer G4904 in G1722 the gospel G2098 of Christ, G5547 to G1519 establish G4741 you, G5209 and G2532 to comfort G3870 you G5209 concerning G4012 your G5216 faith: G4102
But charge H6680 Joshua, H3091 and encourage H2388 him, and strengthen H553 him: for he shall go over H5674 before H6440 this people, H5971 and he shall cause them to inherit H5157 the land H776 which thou shalt see. H7200
And G1161 they went G1831 out of G1537 the prison, G5438 and entered G1525 into G1519 the house of Lydia: G3070 and G2532 when they had seen G1492 the brethren, G80 they comforted G3870 them, G846 and G2532 departed. G1831
Also I in the first H259 year H8141 of Darius H1867 the Mede, H4075 even I, stood H5977 to confirm H2388 and to strengthen H4581 him.
Strengthen H2388 ye the weak H7504 hands, H3027 and confirm H553 the feeble H3782 knees. H1290 Say H559 to them that are of a fearful H4116 heart, H3820 Be strong, H2388 fear H3372 not: behold, your God H430 will come H935 with vengeance, H5359 even God H430 with a recompence; H1576 he will come H935 and save H3467 you.

Commentary on Acts 18 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 18
In this chapter we have,
Act 18:1-6
We do not find that Paul was much persecuted at Athens, nor that he was driven thence by any ill usage, as he was from those places where the Jews had or could make any interest; but this reception at Athens being cold, and little prospect of doing good there, he departed from Athens, leaving the care of those there who believed with Dionysius; and thence he came to Corinth, where he was now instrumental in planting a church that became on many accounts considerable. Corinth was the chief city of Achaia, now a province of the empire, a rich and splendid city. Non cuivis homini contingit adire Corinthum-It is not permitted every man to see Corinth. The country thereabouts at this day is called the Morea. Now here we have,
Act 18:7-11
Here we are told,
Act 18:12-17
We have here an account of some disturbance given to Paul and his friends at Corinth, but no great harm done, nor much hindrance given to the work of Christ there.
Act 18:18-23
We have here Paul in motion, as we have had him at Corinth for some time at rest, but in both busy, very busy, in the service of Christ; if he sat still, if he went about, still it was to do good. Here is,
Act 18:24-28
The sacred history leaves Paul upon his travels, and goes here to meet Apollos at Ephesus, and to give us some account of him, which was necessary to our understanding some passages in Paul's epistles.
