6 So Haman H2001 came in. H935 And the king H4428 said H559 unto him, What shall be done H6213 unto the man H376 whom the king H4428 delighteth H2654 to honour? H3366 Now Haman H2001 thought H559 in his heart, H3820 To whom would the king H4428 delight H2654 to do H6213 honour H3366 more H3148 than to myself?
Pride H1347 goeth before H6440 destruction, H7667 and an haughty H1363 spirit H7307 before H6440 a fall. H3783
And all the king's H4428 servants, H5650 that were in the king's H4428 gate, H8179 bowed, H3766 and reverenced H7812 Haman: H2001 for the king H4428 had so commanded H6680 concerning him. But Mordecai H4782 bowed H3766 not, nor did him reverence. H7812 Then the king's H4428 servants, H5650 which were in the king's H4428 gate, H8179 said H559 unto Mordecai, H4782 Why transgressest H5674 thou the king's H4428 commandment? H4687
And let this apparel H3830 and horse H5483 be delivered H5414 to the hand H3027 of one H376 of the king's H4428 most noble H6579 princes, H8269 that they may array H3847 the man H376 withal whom the king H4428 delighteth H2654 to honour, H3366 and bring H7392 him on horseback H5483 through the street H7339 of the city, H5892 and proclaim H7121 before H6440 him, Thus shall it be done H6213 to the man H376 whom the king H4428 delighteth H2654 to honour. H3366
Then took H3947 Haman H2001 the apparel H3830 and the horse, H5483 and arrayed H3847 Mordecai, H4782 and brought him on horseback H7392 through the street H7339 of the city, H5892 and proclaimed H7121 before H6440 him, Thus shall it be done H6213 unto the man H376 whom the king H4428 delighteth H2654 to honour. H3366
For the turning away H4878 of the simple H6612 shall slay H2026 them, and the prosperity H7962 of fools H3684 shall destroy H6 them.
Thou shalt no more be termed H559 Forsaken; H5800 neither shall thy land H776 any more be termed H559 Desolate: H8077 but thou shalt be called H7121 Hephzibah, H2657 and thy land H776 Beulah: H1166 for the LORD H3068 delighteth H2654 in thee, and thy land H776 shall be married. H1166 For as a young man H970 marrieth H1166 a virgin, H1330 so shall thy sons H1121 marry H1166 thee: and as the bridegroom H2860 rejoiceth H4885 over the bride, H3618 so shall thy God H430 rejoice H7797 over thee.

Commentary on Esther 6 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 6
It is a very surprising scene that opens in this chapter. Haman, when he hoped to be Mordecai's judge, was made his page, to his great confusion and mortification; and thus way was made for the defeat of Haman's plot and the deliverance of the Jews.
And now it appears that Esther's intercession for her people was happily adjourned, "De die in diem'-from day to day.
Est 6:1-3
Now Satan put it into the heart of Haman to contrive Mordecai's death we read in the foregoing chapter; how God put it into the heart of the king to contrive Mordecai's honour we are here told. Now, if the king's word will prevail above Haman's (for, though Haman be a great man, the king in the throne must be above him), much more will the counsel of God stand, whatever devices there are in men's hearts. It is to no purpose therefore for Haman to oppose it, when both God and the king will have Mordecai honoured, and in this juncture too, when his preferment, and Haman's disappointment, would help to ripen the great affair of the Jewish deliverance for the effort that Esther was to make towards it the next day. Sometimes delay may prove to have been good conduct. Stay awhile, and we may have done the sooner. Cunctando restituit rem-He conquered by delay. Let us trace the steps which Providence took towards the advancement of Mordecai.
Est 6:4-11
It is now morning, and people begin to stir.
Est 6:12-14
We may here observe,
