27 My G1699 sheep G4263 hear G191 my G3450 voice, G5456 and I G2504 know G1097 them, G846 and G2532 they follow G190 me: G3427
I G1473 am G1510 the good G2570 shepherd, G4166 and G2532 know G1097 my G1699 sheep, and G2532 am known G1097 of G5259 mine. G1699
And G2532 other G243 sheep G4263 I have, G2192 which G3739 are G2076 not G3756 of G1537 this G5026 fold: G833 them also G2548 I G3165 must G1163 bring, G71 and G2532 they shall hear G191 my G3450 voice; G5456 and G2532 there shall be G1096 one G3391 fold, G4167 and one G1520 shepherd. G4166
Behold, G2400 I stand G2476 at G1909 the door, G2374 and G2532 knock: G2925 if G1437 any man G5100 hear G191 my G3450 voice, G5456 and G2532 open G455 the door, G2374 I will come in G1525 to G4314 him, G846 and G2532 will sup G1172 with G3326 him, G846 and G2532 he G846 with G3326 me. G1700
To him G5129 the porter G2377 openeth; G455 and G2532 the sheep G4263 hear G191 his G846 voice: G5456 and G2532 he calleth G2564 his own G2398 sheep G4263 by G2596 name, G3686 and G2532 leadeth G1806 them G846 out. G1806 And G2532 when G3752 he putteth forth G1544 his own G2398 sheep, G4263 he goeth G4198 before G1715 them, G846 and G2532 the sheep G4263 follow G190 him: G846 for G3754 they know G1492 his G846 voice. G5456
But G1161 now, G3568 after that ye have known G1097 God, G2316 or G1161 rather G3123 are known G1097 of G5259 God, G2316 how G4459 turn ye G1994 again G3825 to G1909 the weak G772 and G2532 beggarly G4434 elements, G4747 whereunto G3739 ye desire G2309 again G3825 G509 to be in bondage? G1398
All G3956 that ever G3745 came G2064 before G4253 me G1700 are G1526 thieves G2812 and G2532 robbers: G3027 but G235 the sheep G4263 did G191 not G3756 hear G191 them. G846
Then G3767 spake G2980 Jesus G2424 again G3825 unto them, G846 saying, G3004 I G1473 am G1510 the light G5457 of the world: G2889 he that followeth G190 me G1698 shall G4043 not G3364 walk G4043 in G1722 darkness, G4653 but G235 shall have G2192 the light G5457 of life. G2222
Then G1161 Jesus G2424 beholding G1689 him G846 loved G25 him, G846 and G2532 said G2036 unto him, G846 One thing G1520 thou G4671 lackest: G5302 go thy way, G5217 sell G4453 whatsoever G3745 thou hast, G2192 and G2532 give G1325 to the poor, G4434 and G2532 thou shalt have G2192 treasure G2344 in G1722 heaven: G3772 and G2532 come, G1204 take up G142 the cross, G4716 and follow G190 me. G3427
These G3778 are they G1526 which G3739 were G3435 not G3756 defiled G3435 with G3326 women; G1135 for G1063 they are G1526 virgins. G3933 These G3778 are they G1526 which G3588 follow G190 the Lamb G721 whithersoever G3699 G302 he goeth. G5217 These G3778 were redeemed G59 from G575 among men, G444 being the firstfruits G536 unto God G2316 and G2532 to the Lamb. G721
And G1161 it shall come to pass, G2071 that every G3956 soul, G5590 which G3748 G302 will G191 not G3361 hear G191 that G1565 prophet, G4396 shall be destroyed G1842 from among G1537 the people. G2992
Jesus G2424 saith G3004 unto him, G846 If G1437 I will G2309 that he G846 tarry G3306 till G2193 I come, G2064 what G5101 is that to G4314 thee? G4571 follow G190 thou G4771 me. G3427
If G1437 any man G5100 serve G1247 me, G1698 let him follow G190 me; G1698 and G2532 where G3699 I G1473 am, G1510 there G1563 shall G2071 also G2532 my G1699 servant G1249 be: G2071 G2532 if G1437 any man G5100 serve G1247 me, G1698 him G846 will G5091 my Father G3962 honour. G5091
Why G1302 do ye G1097 not G3756 understand G1097 my G1699 speech? G2981 even because G3754 ye cannot G3756 G1410 hear G191 my G1699 word. G3056
And G2532 when he had called G4341 the people G3793 unto him with G4862 his G846 disciples G3101 also, he said G2036 unto them, G846 Whosoever G3748 will G2309 come G2064 after G3694 me, G3450 let him deny G533 himself, G1438 and G2532 take up G142 his G846 cross, G4716 and G2532 follow G190 me. G3427
But G1161 he answered G611 and said, G2036 Verily G281 I say G3004 unto you, G5213 I know G1492 you G5209 not. G3756
While he G846 yet G2089 spake, G2980 behold, G2400 a bright G5460 cloud G3507 overshadowed G1982 them: G846 and G2532 behold G2400 a voice G5456 out of G1537 the cloud, G3507 which said, G3004 This G3778 is G2076 my G3450 beloved G27 Son, G5207 in G1722 whom G3739 I am well pleased; G2106 hear ye G191 him. G846
Then G5119 said G2036 Jesus G2424 unto his G846 disciples, G3101 If any G1536 man will G2309 come G2064 after G3694 me, G3450 let him deny G533 himself, G1438 and G2532 take up G142 his G846 cross, G4716 and G2532 follow G190 me. G3427
And G2532 then G5119 will I profess G3670 unto them, G846 G3754 I never G3763 knew G1097 you: G5209 depart G672 from G575 me, G1700 ye that work G2038 iniquity. G458
And Elijah H452 came H5066 unto all the people, H5971 and said, H559 How long H5921 halt H6452 ye between two H8147 opinions? H5587 if the LORD H3068 be God, H430 follow him: but if Baal, H1168 then follow H3212 H310 him. And the people H5971 answered H6030 him not a word. H1697
Nevertheless G3305 the foundation G2310 of God G2316 standeth G2476 sure, G4731 having G2192 this G5026 seal, G4973 The Lord G2962 knoweth G1097 them that are G5607 his. G846 And, G2532 Let G868 every one G3956 that nameth G3687 the name G3686 of Christ G5547 depart G868 from G575 iniquity. G93

Commentary on John 10 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 10
In this chapter we have,
Jhn 10:1-18
It is not certain whether this discourse was at the feast of dedication in the winter (spoken of v. 22), which may be taken as the date, not only of what follows, but of what goes before (that which countenances this is, that Christ, in his discourse there, carries on the metaphor of the sheep, v. 26, 27, whence it seems that that discourse and this were at the same time); or whether this was a continuation of his parley with the Pharisees, in the close of the foregoing chapter. The Pharisees supported themselves in their opposition to Christ with this principle, that they were the pastors of the church, and that Jesus, having no commission from them, was an intruder and an impostor, and therefore the people were bound in duty to stick to then, against him. In opposition to this, Christ here describes who were the false shepherds, and who the true, leaving them to infer what they were.
Jhn 10:19-21
We have here an account of the people's different sentiments concerning Christ, on occasion of the foregoing discourse; there was a division, a schism, among them; they differed in their opinions, which threw them into heats and parties. Such a ferment as this they had been in before (ch. 7:43; 9:16); and where there has once been a division again. Rents are sooner made than made up or mended. This division was occasioned by the sayings of Christ, which, one would think, should rather have united them all in him as their centre; but they set them at variance, as Christ foresaw, Lu. 12:51. But it is better that men should be divided about the doctrine of Christ than united in the service of sin, Lu. 11:21. See what the debate was in particular.
Jhn 10:22-38
We have here another rencounter between Christ and the Jews in the temple, in which it is hard to say which is more strange, the gracious words that came out of his mouth or the spiteful ones that came out of theirs.
Jhn 10:39-42
We have here the issue of the conference with the Jews. One would have thought it would have convinced and melted them, but their hearts were hardened. Here we are told,
