1 The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying, "You are truly the Son of God!"
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we saw, and our hands touched, concerning the Word of life (and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us); that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.
For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, set apart for the Gospel of God, which he promised before through his prophets in the holy Scriptures, concerning his Son, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,
but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.
We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
I have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God."
The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.
The angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born from you will be called the Son of God.
even as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word delivered them to us, it seemed good to me also, having traced the course of all things accurately from the first, to write to you in order, most excellent Theophilus;
The tempter came and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread."
Behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."
